Floral is the perfect pattern for this time of the year, don't you agree? I just love all of the bright colors! When I saw the first How We Wore it post on Brooke's blog, I instantly loved the idea. Why? I love using others outfit creations as inspiration for my own outfits. You know when you get bored of your clothes and just feel like you have nothing to wear? Well, this happens to me a lot and that's why I have turned to Pinterest for help. Almost every night I search Pinterest for some good ole' outfit inspiration and, let me tell ya it works! I have had some of the nicest compliments about outfits that were inspired by someone else's outfit picture.

When I saw the inspiration picture (Isn't Amanda gorgeous? I just love her style) I immediately knew what I was going to wear. I started coming up with a super cute outfit in my head, it was very very similar to the inspiration outfit.  When the day came to go take pictures of the said outfit, guess what? It looked terrible. Just terrible. That is when I knew I needed to get out of my box and mix it up a bit.

I had this floral shirt in my closet, it's from TJMaxx and I love it. It is simply perfect for the spring time.

Don't you just love this lace blazer? Guess where I got it? Uptown Cheapskate. That's right, I payed twelve bucks for this beauty. I got it last summer and it has been a staple in my closet ever since.

In Amanda's picture, she has a green purse. I decided for my outfit to incorporate my backpack. Yep, this is the bag that is on my shoulder every single day. It carries everything from books to my loose change.  I didn't know I could like a backpack so much until this beaut came around. Thank you again, Target.

These are my favorite jeans! They are so comfy! Also the shoes? They are from Famous Footwear. Oh and they are my mom's, sorry mom! Ha!

The accessories for this outfit pretty much came naturally. My all time fav watch + a basic gold chunky necklace = perfection. I also threw on my $1 pair of sunglasses that I picked up from Target, last year. Wahoo for cheap things that actually last you longer than a week!

My hair had a little fishtail accent. All the credit goes to my awesome friend, Abi.

When you see someone's pic of their outfit and think it is way cute and you want to recreate it, don't feel like you have to have everything in the picture to get inspiration from their picture. Pull out the elements in the outfit and look at what you own. You will be surprised what you can come up with!

I am so thankful for Pinterest and girl's blogs that I can look to for inspiration. I love this outfit and I love the fact that I get to share it with you even more.

Go check out all of the other ladies in the collab! I can't wait to see what they all came up with! Such a fantastic list of people!
