Have you ever wanted to create your own printable online? Have you seen such cute etsy shops and ever wished you could do what they do? One problem, let me guess, you don't know how! Let me show you how you can create cards, calendars, cute chore charts, printables you can frame for wall art, and so much more!

Over the years I have learned some tips about Graphic Design. No, I am not a graphic designer, and No I do not own any photoshop applications (maybe one day, hopefully!) but, I have figured out a way to create my own images for FREE! I know, you are totally freakin out right now ;)

Okay, let me start off by saying I don't think you are Dummies (like stated in my post title)..hehe

Ready to hear how you can do this daunting task? Two words. Pic. Monkey.

I am sure you have heard of it! If not, that's okay too, you will catch on quickly. I fell in love with Pic Monkey, I use it for everything! Let me give you the low-down. First of all, It is free unless you want to become "Royale". Being a member you can use more Overlays, Fonts, etc. Oh and guess what? The cost is very cheap! I recently purchased a membership a couple of months ago and now I don't know how I lived without it. With that being said, you don't have to have a membership to create something amazing.

*Please note that is a very BASIC tutorial. There is much more you can do with this program..get creative!*

Step One-

Go to www.Picmonkey.com
This is what it will look like..

Step Two-

Hover over the Design tab in the middle of the page, then click on 5x7
You can use other sizes, this is just a general size that looks good for online printables

 Step 3-

At this point you can change the orientation of the image and the color
Simply change the color by dragging your mouse over the different shades and then click apply

Step 4-

Add text. Click the Tt button on the left, then Add Text. Next type in your sentiment. You change the color and size, bolding, orientation etc. on the toolbar on the right.

Step 5-

For this particular text, I wanted it to say Thank You! 3 times. To simply duplicate the text, hold down the Control key (on your keyboard) and then click your text. Options will come up such as delete, send forward, send backward, etc. Click on Duplicate Text.

Repeat as many times as you would like.

At this step you can change your font. Pic Monkey offers you a lot of different fonts, some are actually some of my favorite fonts. The ones that have a crown next to them are for Members only. Also, if you want to use a different font, feel free to go on to Pinterest and download free fonts. Don't know how? No worries, leave your question in the comments! :)

Step 6-

Images. This part is the funnest part, in my opinion. On this card I didn't want to add an image but, you always can!

I went onto pinterest and downloaded a Free Graphic Image font. They are easy to find and super cute. Bonus! They have a lot of different accents that you can add to your images, such as banners. Everyone loves a good banner! Am I right?

 Step 7-

Save. Print.

Simply click save on the top of your screen. Rename it. Save to your computer. BOOM! Finished! To print it, you click your image and click print. Make sure you check the page setup before printing. You need to have a 5x7 white side to the image, if it's a card, so you can fold it. Also make sure you have the right paper to print it on. White cardstock is a good option :)

*Image quality is an option you can change, it just takes up a little more space on your computer, or wherever you are saving it*

That's it! Now let your imagination run wild. Create whatever you want! I edit images, make printables, and much more on this program. I L.O.V.E it!

Let me know if you have any questions!

Words of advice?
Don't stress if it's confusing for you in the beginning. You will get the hang of it, I promise!
