Who says you can't have Valentines Day cupcakes in January?

I know what you are probably thinking, if you are reading this when it's actually being published, "It's January, Christmas just ended, why are you posting about Valentines Day?!" Well, you know what, I say you can never celebrate Valentines day too early. Alright, actually, if you start decorating for V-day in December, than that's too early, HA! I just love this holiday! Even though I haven't started decorating or anything (I just keep telling myself to hold off, haha) all I can think about is the pinks, purples, and reds. This is the holiday with the cutest decorations..right?

I decided today that I was in need of a cupcake, and when my brain went into "Cupcake Mode" all I could think about were these adorable cupcake liners that I picked up a while ago. They are pink, I had the perfect sprinkles, and there I was, creating a total V-Day cupcake.

Aren't these a-dor-a-ble? I'm obsessed. Thank you again target!

Oooh Betty Crocker, oh how you are always there for me..

Using an ice cream scooper to scoop batter into cupcake liners? Best thing ever!
Oh and that frosting!! I may gain 10 lbs before these cupcakes are all gone. (recipe below)

Valentines Day, I just L.O.V.E you!

I love any chance I get to whip out my piping bag, and if I wouldn't of used it, I could tell ya right now, these cupcakes wouldn't look nearly as cute! Am I right?

//Here is the recipe to that yummy frosting//

ingredients
6 c. powdered sugar
2 c. butter
2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

directions
Have butter at room temp. Combine all ingredients in bowl. Beat until it reaches the consistency you desire.

Ta-Da you are done! Now go make your self some cupcakes!

PS expect a ton of V-Day posts, like I've said previous, it is my FAVORITE holiday :)

Like always...

talk to you soon
